The cosmopolitan tourist town of Agios Nikolaos is located approximately 12 kilometers from Heraklion International Airport (45 minutes’ drive).

Agios Nikolaos is the capital town of Lasithi province and is located on Mirabello Bay.

Geographically, the town is well protected from strong winds, allowing water sports almost year-round.

Although Agios Nikolaos has a population of less than 20,000, it has several banks, supermarkets, shops of all kinds, doctors, a modern high-standard hospital, public swimming pool and tennis courts, yacht marina, harbor, cinema, theater, gyms, a 9-hole golf course, high-standard schools for children, and generally has all the services one would expect to find in a modern European town.

The wonderful dry climate and natural beauty of the area have attracted many high-standard hotels to operate in this region.
